Ford will be launching new 2016 Ford F-650 and F-750 commercial trucks in the U.S The trucks will be produced in Ohio which will secure approximately 1400 American jobs. The trucks will be powered by a 6.7 Liter V8 diesel engine and will also be available with a 6.8 Liter V10 engine. The new commercial trucks come with a new mesh grille, halogen headlamps and an available Powerscope trailer. The roof has been designed at a lower profile in order to reduce wind resistance.
Ford is the only Class 6-7 manufacturer that built its own powertrain. The Ford Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 comes with an upgraded turbocharger and with three power ratings.
Ford’s work trucks have been designed for a more comfortable ride which means higher levels of production. Larger springs have been installed for a smoother ride. A front stabilizer bar is available for improved handling. Ford’s SYNC system is also available and offers hands-free calling, music search control features and no-extra charge 911 assist.
A large number of seating configurations are available including seats with fixed-spring and air-ride suspension. Buyers can opt from cloth or vinyl seats. Three cab options are available including two-door regular cab, four-door SuperCab and Crew Cab.
